By engaging with key customer decision makers and influencers, you will drive technical strategy, leading hands-on demos, proofs of concept, and technical education to address blockers, elevate customer outcomes, and build lasting trust.Beyond direct customer engagements, you will contribute to operational excellence within Field Services by identifying workflow improvements, addressing process gaps, and developing readiness plans to enhance overall efficiency. You’ll collaborate with internal GitHub and Microsoft teams to identify emerging technical opportunities, guiding the product roadmap with valuable customer feedback and competitive insights. In this role, you will help drive GitHub’s leadership in AI and innovation, empower customers through our security and technical narratives, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with GitHub’s mission to empower every developer and deliver transformative solutions.ResponsibilitiesCustomer and Industry InsightsCombines industry insights, global best practices, and experience across regions to recommend strategies for managing high-impact accounts. Engages cross-functional teams to gather customer intelligence, track performance, and identify risks, ensuring customers consider alternative strategies to adapt and grow.Utilizes deep knowledge of customer businesses and technology platforms to build digital strategies that align with business outcomes. Applies industry expertise to help customers navigate challenges, offering innovative GitHub solutions that support growth and integration into their broader business.Technology Strategy FormulationAnalyzes complex accounts to identify opportunities for GitHub solutions, guiding customers in adopting technology that aligns with their long-term business strategy. Acts as a strategic link between GitHub and the customer, establishing a clear pathway for strategic initiatives and resources to achieve shared goals.Builds trusted, phased roadmaps for high-priority accounts, validating plans with stakeholders to drive long-term objectives. Helps customers adapt strategies to leverage GitHub’s innovative capabilities and achieve transformative results.Differentiated Value PropositionActs as an escalation point for high-impact strategic accounts, conducting in-depth analysis of technical risks and challenges to address complex customer issues.
