Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTTs) are the future of Edwards – Estimated to be a more than $5 billion opportunity by 2028, Edwards will discuss its multiple transcatheter programs aimed at transforming care for the many patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. Since 2017 Edwards launched already multiple products – transformational therapies in Europe led by its CARDIOBAND, PASCAL and EVOQUE programs. We are already developing another therapy, expecting CE mark in 2025.

Requested candidate locations: Germany - north / north-east regions preferred: Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Berlin, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Thuringia.

Travelling in Germany and EU will be requested.

Therapy Activation Specialist EVOQUE is responsible for the delivery of TMTT educational curriculum and practical onboarding of Health Care Professionals (HCPs; Physicians) within the field. To accelerate new account certification and learning curve in support of site opening and physician training will be your key duty. Providing feedback to PEMA leadership commitment & competence of HCP ́s and support procedures as a Clinical Specialist will be very important part of your job. You will be playing pioneering role assuring best experience with EVOQUE, the first tricuspid valve, and future TMTT therapies eliminating open heart surgery! You will be an expert on our EVOQUE therapy/device!

We are strengthening our Professional Education & Medical Affairs European team (PEMA)! This role is reporting to Manager, Therapy Activation, TMTT-EVOQUE, PEMA! Apply in English!

Your core duties:

  • Lead the Site Opening Process, working closely with local internal stakeholders and the customer in their territory.
  • Assess HCP competencies throughout the site opening process in their region and propose tailored solutions to address their needs.
  • Provide field-based product & developmental feedback to training team & TMTT leadership.
How you will make an impact:

  • Case support & delivery of educational and training needs to support the onboarding and/or coaching of HCP ́s, through practical, field-based education. Assess skill, knowledge & commitment progress and be able to articulate coaching to HCP & leaders both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage the overall process of Site Opening through collaboration with local commercial and clinical partners and training team; ensuring good communication, proper planning and reporting of site opening progress
  • Case support & providing education/proctoring support on all aspects of the device, device handling, implantation, imaging and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants
  • Provide technical and educational feedback in the development and continuously improvement of training (e.g., curriculum, training materials and training tools) and guidelines (e.g., SOPs) in support of the training manager
  • Other duties: Attend and educate at conferences as needed. Attend and contribute at extra meetings to add value to training, procedure development etc.
What you'll need (Required):

  • Min 3-5 years years work experience in INDUSTRY is mandatory - medical device (fields: TAVI, CRM, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, AAA, cardiac surgery, echocardiography, cardio-vascular or similar)
  • Moderate echocardiography knowledge (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.) - some knowledge very welcome - we are ready to train you
  • Training experience in clinical / technical environment preferred
  • Cath lab / OR / hybrid OR experience
  • Fluent in German and advanced/fluent English required
  • Active car driver - company car provided - high flexibility to travel
