Chief Product Officer – B2B E-Commerce Platform Are You Ready to Drive Product Innovation and Transform the E-Commerce Landscape? We are Next Basket, a pioneering B2B e-commerce provider, and we’re seeking an extraordinary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead our product vision and strategy. What You’ll Do: Develop and Execute Strategic Product Vision: Product Strategy: Formulate and maintain a clear product vision that aligns with the company’s business goals. Lead the development of product roadmaps, ensuring that they reflect market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements. Innovation: Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities in the market, leveraging data analytics, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions. Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team, including the CEO and CTO, to ensure that product strategies support the company’s long-term vision and market positioning. Lead and Inspire Cross-Functional Teams: Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of product managers, UX/UI designers, and developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Execution: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products. Resolve bottlenecks, prioritize tasks, and guide the team to meet deadlines. Communication: Serve as a key liaison between the product team and other departments, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and clear communication across the organization. Customer-Centric Product Development: Customer Insights: Champion a customer-first approach by leading initiatives to gather in- depth user research, surveys, and feedback. Use these insights to guide product development and enhance user experience. Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and performance metrics (e.g., Customer Lifetime Value, Net Promoter Score)to track product success, make informed decisions, and continuously iterate on products to better meet customer needs. Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all products adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendly solutions. Drive Business Growth: Market Positioning: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, adapting product strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the e-commerce space. P&L Management: Oversee the product portfolio’s profit and loss, working closely with the Finance team to optimize budgets and ensure that product development contributes to the company’s financial goals. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, including technology providers and vendors, to drive innovation and enhance product offerings. What We’re Looking For: Experience and Expertise: Proven Leadership: 7+ years in senior product management roles, with at least 3 years as a CPO or in a similar leadership position within the e-commerce and SaaS industries. SaaS and E-Commerce Knowledge: Extensive experience in developing and managing products within a SaaS environment, with a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and their unique challenges. Agile Methodologies: Proficient in agile software development practices, with hands-on experience using tools like JIRA to manage product development cycles effectively. Skills and Qualifications: Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically and translate market trends and customer insights into actionable product strategies. Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and C-suite executives. Analytical Mindset: Proficient in data analytics, market research, and performance metrics, with the ability to make data-driven decisions that drive product success. Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Why Join Next Basket?
