About the RoleSyntegon Technology, a global leader in processing and packaging technology, seeks an accomplished Financial Accounting Expert to join its team in Waiblingen, Germany. As part of this position, you will play a vital role in preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for group legal entities according to IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements.
- Support entities and provide expert advice on accounting and process matters.
- Proactively improve accounting processes and drive the implementation of optimized solutions.
- Serve as the point of contact for assigned units, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax or a similar field, combined with relevant professional experience in Accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, ideally including German tax law.
- Excellent analytical skills, high engagement level, and structured approach to work.
- Comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module.
- A strong interest in processes and systems within financial accounting.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and comfort in an international environment. Good German language skills are also required.
- Excellent teamwork skills, reliability, and results-oriented mindset.
- A valid permanent work permit for Germany is essential, as the position is based in Waiblingen. Relocation from outside Germany is expected.
